Chadra Mezza & Grill

Chadra Mezza and Grill/Facebook
Exceptional Middle-Eastern restaurant is named for Chadra, Lebanon, where chef-owner Nehme Elbitar was born. This restaurant in the medical district is Elbitar's second-generation place a step up from Cafe Chadra, his original hole-in-the-wall. He does all the classics: hummus, baba ganouj, tabouli, falafel, and more – and that includes occasional American and Italian dishes such as fettucini alfredo. On Friday and Saturday evenings, there's a Mediterranean buffet for $18 that includes a Greek salad bar, pizza, garlic knots, and entrees featuring lamb chops and roasted leg of lamb.
