Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steak House moves into its next era with its opening in Uptown, on the ground floor of the curvaceous McKinney & Olive tower designed by Cesar Pelli. The 14,000-square-foot, two-story restaurant is a flagship, with Prime beef and bone-in steaks from Chicago's Stockyards, seafood from Foley's in Boston, and beef from Texas vendors such as 44 Farms and HeartBrand. Those turn up on dishes such as short rib and grits, and a jalapeño burger with Texas toast. The wine list, with more than 1,000 labels, includes a mix of California and global wines, priced from $40 to $5,000.
