Million Dollar Listing solicits big-deal real estate brokers for upcoming Dallas show
Real estate reality show Million Dollar Listing is coming to Texas: Bravo TV producers are on the prowl for big-deal brokers in Dallas and Houston for upcoming spin-offs of the network's hit show. They are looking for "high-end, high-profile" real estate agents with "big personalities."
The franchise began withMillion Dollar Listing Los Angeles, which follows young, hot shot Realtors who sell high-end properties in the the most exclusive neighborhoods in the city. Next the showed headed to New York, and Bravo recently announced plans for a Million Dollar Listing Miami.
Real estate blogger Candy Evans has her theories about which Dallas brokers have Million Dollar potential; a few of the names she tosses around are Hunter Dehn, Allie Beth Allman, Doris Jacobs, Ellen Terry, Erin Mathews, Dave Perry-Miller and Kari Schlegel Kloewer.
To have a shot at the show, agents must have multiple million-dollar listings and live a "life of lavish opulence," according the criteria. One wonders: Is there any other kind of opulence?
Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles' most recent finale drew a record 1.7 million viewers, and the show has been picked up for its seventh season. Million Dollar Listing New York has been picked up for its third.
