Group Fun
From sushi to music to yoga, find your group at this Dallas community
Like a wonderful utopia, The Village has everything you need within its 16 lush, green neighborhoods. And we're not talking just basic apartment amenities. Though it does have a state-of-the-art fitness center, resort-style pools, and running and cycling trails, the social clubs and special events are what make The Village a true community.
Having just one thing in common with your neighbors can spark a true friendship, and this community has several ways and places to do just that.
From the moment you finish unpacking in your new home, you can begin checking out the community's social clubs. From fitness classes to foodie demonstrations, book clubs to music jam sessions, there's a (free) social club for practically every interest.
If you're looking for just a general place to hang out, simply stroll down to The Village's hub, The Den. Each Thursday you'll find The Troubadour, a "traveling bistro" that serves farm-to-table food. Chef Luis Sanchez crafts an eclectic, rotating menu that utilizes what's fresh and in season, dishing out everything from chicken tacos and samosas to elotes and homemade fries.
There's also a full outdoor bocce ball court, so pick up a pallino and make some new friends. Big sporting events are broadcast on a giant, inflatable, pop-up movie screen, along with film buff faves and by-request resident favorites. Look for customized food specials from The Troubadour for each get-together.
Chow down and BYOB on the patio while listening to live music, or relax on the lawn and play some yard games, such as corn hole, giant Jenga, or Connect Four. Bring your Village ID to check out a weekly meetup, take a pic for Instagram in front of neon lights, and make some memories.
