The topography of Dallas wouldn’t be quite the same without Lucy Billingsley. The real estate mogul has built her reputation on looking to the future, from colonizing the land around George Bush Turnpike and the Dallas North Tollway (when the former was just a gleam in a congressman’s eye) to contributing to the establishment of a livable Arts District with the founding of One and Two Arts Plaza.
The only daughter of legendary developer Trammell Crow Sr., this Dallas native has spent more than three decades developing and managing office buildings; design centers; and multifamily, retail and industrial properties alongside her husband, Henry, with whom she started the Billingsley Company in 1978.
