Get Ready to Jingle
Dallas’ Dwell With Dignity dreams up new pop-up shop with holiday bent
The holidays are just around the corner, and with that comes the onslaught of pop-up shops, including a new one from Dallas nonprofit Dwell With Dignity. Called Jingle Dwell Party, the 12-day shopping event is produced in partnership with Holiday Warehouse.
Like Dwell With Dignity’s popular Thrift Studio, the pop-up has a designer bent, as it features Christmas trees decorated by some of Dallas’ top designers, including Doniphan Moore, Denise McGaha, and Jan Showers. Those who attend the kickoff party on Wednesday, November 9, get to bid on those trees, and they can purchase “holiday heels” from designers like Jimmy Choo.
Plus party attendees get first dibs on all kinds of high-end holiday decor before the shop opens to the public on November 10.
The party runs 6:30-10 pm. Also expect sips and bites, tunes by Mr. Diamond, photos with Santa, and a silent auction featuring luxury home décor items. Party attire is tacky Christmas sweater chic, a surefire way to create holiday merriment.
The best part, though, is knowing that your holiday shopping spreads good will too, because all proceeds from Jingle Dwell Party benefit Dwell With Dignity, which is dedicated to creating homes for families struggling with homelessness and poverty.
Jingle Dwell Party is open to the public through November 20 at 1444 Oak Lawn Ave., Ste. 545. Tickets for November 9’s kickoff party range from $80, which includes two drink tickets and a Christopher Radko ornament favor, to $150, which includes three drink tickets and a swag bag filled with designer holiday décor worth more than $200.
