Reservation site OpenTable recently announced the 100 Hottest Restaurant Bars for 2013. Three Dallas-Fort Worth spots made the list.
Del Frisco’s Grille, Cedars Social and Henry’s Tavern were among the restaurant bars from 23 states and Washington, D.C. The list was generated based on more than 5 million reviews from OpenTable diners with a minimum overall rating required. The reviews were then sorted to account for which places were deemed to have a “vibrant bar scene.”
In all, more than 15,000 restaurants were considered.
Cedars Social is known for high-quality cocktails made with top-of-the-line ingredients. Del Frisco’s Grille sports two bars from which to order cocktails.
Henry’s Tavern in Plano is new on the scene after the Portland, Oregon-based restaurant opened its second location in the Shops at Legacy, of all places. But Henry’s has plenty of beer — the joint boasts 100 taps — and a considerable list of cocktails as well.
Two other Texas joints made the list from Houston, including another Del Frisco’s Grille. The other, TQLA, is a Southwestern restaurant that features an extensive tequila collection, because, duh, TQLA wouldn’t carry a bunch of gin, now would it?
