Halloween on the Go
New Halloween drive-thru experience takes over American Airlines Center parking garage
In an adaptation to fit in a pandemic world, Drive-Boo Halloween, a zero-contact, family-friendly drive-through Halloween experience is coming to Dallas' American Airlines Center.
Presented by iHeartMedia Dallas/Fort Worth in partnership with the American Airlines Center and Reindeer Manor, it will take place each weekend in October in the AAC's Silver Garage.
The multi-level attraction, which will allow guests to celebrate Halloween from the safety of their cars, will show off an array of Halloween nostalgia. Different levels of the garage will include traditional trick-or-treat imagery, a haunted carnival, and Halloween monsters and characters. Guests will also be able to tune in to haunting music and Halloween's sounds from their cars.
There will also be a special VIP floor with more intense scares, similar to a traditional seasonal haunted attraction.
“We are thrilled to be able to bring this unique and family-friendly event to Dallas/Fort Worth,” said Kelly Kibler, Region President of iHeartMedia Dallas/Fort Worth, in a statement. “We know Halloween will look different this year, and we wanted to be able to give everyone a safe and socially distanced option to celebrate.”
Reindeer Manor is a haunted house experience located in Red Oak which bills itself as the oldest haunted attraction in Texas, having been in business since 1974. They are also going the drive-through route in 2020, allowing guests to traverse the entire 32 acres on the property, seeing the original buildings and structures on the old manor property. The theme for them will be a post-apocalyptic wasteland where a secret chemical has been released and is causing chaos.
Drive-Boo Halloween will be open every Friday and Saturday night from 7-11 pm, October 2-31. Tickets, $30-$40 per vehicle, are now available at driveboohalloween.com.
