Crayon Club
What it takes to join one of Dallas’ healthiest young professionals groups
Dallas is known for its young professional scene — namely, their admirable community focus. Nowhere is that more evident than at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, where members of Crayon Club work to support the institution’s mission to provide exceptional orthopedic care to thousands of children every year regardless of a family’s ability to pay.
This is shown through volunteerism, education, and philanthropy, at community events and monthly inpatient activities, but most importantly through the members’ dedication to the children.
Crayon Club membership dues help underwrite patient care, research, medical equipment, and building renovations. The three different levels offer members accessible ways to give back, and, in return, they get an insider’s look at the latest advancements in pediatric orthopedics and research.
They also get to build valuable connections while networking at the fun events, which are as wide-ranging as the Dallas Marathon and Scottish Rite Hospital’s Character Breakfast, Farm and Ranch Day, and Summer Colors art auction.
Memberships are available beginning Monday, August 1, but through the end of the month, interested YPs can join the Crayon Club at a discounted rate.
Curious? Find out more at the group’s Educational Evening on Thursday, August 11. From 6 to 8 pm, you can get a behind-the- scenes tour of the hospital, dinner, and special presentation. Be sure to RSVP to crayonclub@tsrh.org by Monday, August 8, if you’d like to attend. And really, why wouldn’t you?
Memberships can be purchased at the event, as well as online anytime.
Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children is one of the nation’s leading pediatric centers for the treatment of orthopedic conditions and sports injuries, as well as certain related arthritic and neurological disorders, and learning disorders, such as dyslexia.
