Austin Morton
In her career to date, Austin Morton has reported from the center of a national(and very personal) tragedy, produced high-end fashion editorials, and haswritten about everything from in-flight science experiments to running in agorilla costume. Born and raised in Virginia, she migrated to the great state ofTexas in 2008 and quite likes it. Since abandoning — er, taking a leave ofabsence from — her East Coast roots, Austin has checked the mail at TexasMonthly, kept a finger on the pulse of the eclectic state capital at AustinMonthly, and fought for the diversion of Southwest Airlines passengerseverywhere for Spirit Magazine, where currently she is an editor.
