Parisian brand takes a shine to Dallas with new Highland Park Village shop
Luxury silversmith Christofle has chosen Highland Park Village as the site of its first Dallas boutique. It's the second Texas location for the Parisian brand, which can also be found in Houston's Galleria shopping center.
Dating back to 1830 and manufactured in Yainville, Normandy, Christofle is known for its flatware and silver trays, all stamped with a signature bee symbol. That bee is also referenced in the honeycomb patterns that show up on many of its pieces.
Gifts and accessories — frames, candles, baby gifts, bridal gifts, barware, and desk accessories — will be an added focus at the Dallas shop. And what would a fancy silver present be without the option to customize or engrave? Gift wrapping and comprehensive cleaning services are available too, naturally.
The shop's interior leans heavily on dark wood details and soft, muted colors to show off a mirrored silver wall panel. A gallery-like display of the brand’s most iconic silver tray designs, along with a dramatic honeycomb-inspired shelving installation, anchor the space.
“Highland Park Village is the perfect location for our Dallas boutique and precisely the destination we were holding out for," says Nicholas Krafft, CEO & president of Christofle Americas, in a release.
And, if you happen to own some premium silverware and you're unsure which fork belongs to which course or what exactly that tiny spoon is for, Christofle will also offer private and group instruction in a variety of "Art of Dining" and "Modern Etiquette" classes. Fancy and helpful.
