Deep Ellum Foundation is working to transform Crowdus Street into a three-block long pedestrian walkway with regular local music performances, live art demonstrations, group activities, and more. The all-ages experimental event, called Reimagine Crowdus, will give businesses in the area a chance to highlight their products and services, while bringing the community together for a month of creative free activities.

Activities include free movies in collaboration with Alamo Drafthouse; a Mavs Sports Court event; holiday parties such as Friendsgiving, Halloween by Dragon's Ball and DECA, Winter Celebration with Santa, and a New Year's Eve Party featuring performances by local artists Rise and Shine, Kirk Thurmond and The Millennials, and Quaker City Nighthawks, fully equipped with an 8-foot-tall lit ball that drops at midnight; along with activations with local businesses such as Off the Record, City Surf Fitness, Dallas Comedy House, Deep Ellum Outdoor Market, ArtLoveMagic, and more.

The below times represent the start time of the first event each day; for a full schedule of events, go to the Reimagine Crowdus website.

Events will take place on Crowdus Street from Indiana Street to Commerce Street without affecting the Elm, Main, or Commerce cross streets.
