Holiday at the Arboretum 2015
Dallas’ newest holiday tradition just got brighter. Celebrate the season with Holiday at the Arboretum, featuring the return of the magnificent 12 Days of Christmas outdoor exhibit and The Artistry of the Nativity at the DeGolyer House. Placed throughout the 66-acre garden, twelve elaborate 25-foot-tall Victorian gazebos encased in glass are filled with the charming costumed characters, whimsical animals and winter scenes made famous by the beloved Christmas carol. During the evening, The 12 Days at Night are illuminated for magical nighttime viewing. New this year is the addition of 500,000 lights throughout the garden, including a 30-foot-tall tree at the center of property.
In the historic and lavishly decorated DeGolyer House, The Artistry of the Nativity exhibition returns with 300 crèches from around the world. In addition to the Ray Harrington Collection, the collection of George Dvorsky, who spent his career on Broadway, is showcased.
