The Humane League’s Dallas team will celebrate 10 years of efforts dedicated to reducing animal suffering at an anniversary gala. Nickelodeon star Daniella Monet will receive the Humane Hero Award for her work in animal welfare causes, which has encouraged countless young adults to consider more humane diets and lifestyles.

Those hoping to talk with Monet and senior members of The Humane League staff are welcome to purchase VIP tickets for a cocktail hour from 7-8 p.m. Monet will also deliver a speech during the gala about the work she has done in the farmed animal protection movement.

Dallas-based fashion house Cykochik will be present at The Humane League’s 10th Anniversary Gala with its exclusive, cruelty-free The Humane League handbags from its Causes Collection. Attendees will also be able to bid on items, including a dress by Vaute Couture, a beauty box by Petit Vour, and framed art of rescued animals in a silent auction. Delicious drinks, vegan appetizers and desserts will be served throughout the evening. Chefs Troy Gardner and John Mercer of V-Eats, Dallas’s new vegan comfort food restaurant, will cater the event, while Spiral Diner provides desserts and Community Beer Company supplies a selection of its Mosaic IPA, Witbier, Public Ale, and more. Members of the public are all welcome to learn about how supporting The Humane League means saving the lives of millions of farmed animals.

The VIP cocktail hour is from 7-8 pm, while the gala itself is from 8-10 pm.
