In one space, this exhibition will feature over 20 original works which will include sculptures, porcelain, paintings and repurposed materials. Jeremiah Onifade's art stands somewhere between visual art as representation and global commerce.
Onifade draws from prior experiences when creating his works then merges them with found knowledge on Matisse, Cézanne, Basquiat, Murakami, Modigliani, Michelangelo Lodovico, Giacometti, Kaws and Condo to pit the essence of adrenalized actions and its positive/negative impact. He has used his story-telling works to raise funds for HIV/AIDS, inspire youths in community peer programs, motivate hospital patients in therapy and teach others about living positively.
