Sun to Moon Gallery is kicking off the new year in style with two concurrent exhibitions, Sports! and Wintry Mix.
For the first time ever, Sun to Moon will feature the sports genre of photography with prints by two of the area’s premier sports photojournalists: Louis DeLuca, Senior Staff Photographer with The Dallas Morning News, and Tim Heitman, a freelance sports photographer for over 20 years, currently shooting for USA Today Sports Images.
Wintry Mix is just that; a mix of finely crafted photographic prints featuring images taken in winter by eight of Sun to Moon's photographers, including Alan Ross and John Sexton, the great Ansel Adams’ last two photographic assistants, plus Dallas photographers Scot Miller and R.P. “Dick” Washburn, and gallery photographers Jeffrey Conley, Charles Cramer, Anne Larsen, and Jill Skupin Burkholder.
Following the opening reception, the exhibits will be on display through February 13.
