Cowboys Private Club
Private Cowboys Club in Frisco offers VIP access for just a teensy, tiny fee
The Dallas Cowboys organization is hawking memberships to the Cowboys Club, a first-of-its-kind private members club set to open in September 2016. The club will be located on the 91-acre "campus" of the new Dallas Cowboys World Corporate Headquarters at The Star in Frisco.
This multi-use event center and training facility is a public-private partnership between the NFL team, Frisco Independent School District, and the City of Frisco.
According to a release, members of the Cowboys Club can expect a country club feel and an exclusive experience with access to bars, dining options, fitness facilities, a terrace, and rooftop pool overlooking the Dallas Cowboys practice fields.
Charlotte Jones Anderson, Dallas Cowboys executive VP, says it's useful for leisure or business, to entertain clients, have family nights, dinner, or get a behind-the-scenes look at the Cowboys' draft picks.
The Cowboys Club will overlook the Dallas Cowboys practice fields in addition to the Ford Center field, where Frisco's eight ISD high schools will play all games. Club members can attend coach, executive, and player chalk talks covering business and football operations such as a breakdown of the team's draft picks.
The venue will feature multiple bar and dining options, including a five-star restaurant — well, they hope it will be five-star, amiright? — as well as a terrace and rooftop pool area where members can dine.
Monthly events will include game nights, whiskey tastings, watch parties, and more.
Memberships start at $350 a month, with a $4,000 entry fee. No biggie. And members get gratis membership to Cowboys Fit, a fitness facility that the club claims will revolutionize the gym experience, developed in partnership with 24-Hour Fitness founder Mark Mastrov.
There are corporate and private meeting spaces, and last but not least, valet parking. To purchase your membership call 817-892-4400.
