Four Seasons Facelift
Four Seasons overhauls Dallas spa into premier well-being wonderland
Already a destination for locals and travelers (and celebrity weddings), the Four Seasons Resort and Club at Las Colinas is undergoing a $3.5 million renovation of its spa and fitness center. But this is no ordinary facelift. The new Well & Being, set to debut in late spring 2015, aims to be a one-of-a-kind integrated health and wellness experience.
That means enhancements such an active studio for aerobics classes, a suspension studio for aerial hammock yoga and TRX, and a high-tech spin studio. But that’s just for the fitness junkies. More interesting is the clinic for acupuncture, shiatsu, and a variety of healing and detoxifying therapies.
The program is designed by renowned integrative medicine expert Dr. Tieraona Low Dog, the chief medical officer for Well & Being, who leads a team of spa, fitness and health professionals. Well & Being focuses on a fully customized wellness experience, from nutrition to fitness to mind-body therapies to skincare.
You may have thought you only wanted a facial or massage while on vacation, but why stop there when you can sign up for a cupping session or partake in some hammock yoga?
Said general manager Luis Argote in a release, “The spectacular new sports and spa facilities will take Four Seasons Resort to the next level, creating an experience like no other in the country.”
