Dallas women always dress to impress, and nowhere is that more apparent than Crystal Charity Ball, the grand finale of the social season that raises funds for local children's charities.
Our eyes were drawn to many gowns, from subtle to smashing. Fiery red was the color of choice for the more daring, including Laura Adams, Mary Thorton Mosely, Angela Thompson, Kate Meyer, and Nardos Imam; the latter was wearing her own design, of course. We even spotted a red bow tie or two. Hues of blue were also popular — from cobalt to navy to teal.
Carolina Herrera was the go-to designer for many of the ladies, including Ruth Hodge, Phyllis McKnight, Robin McMonigle, Mary Beth Conlon, and Anne Reeder. Others, like Tanya Ames, turned to Monique Lhuillier. Elizabeth Gambrell in Oscar de la Renta, Jeri Kleinman in Fendi, and Kimberly Ricks in Marchesa all shined as well. One of our favorite looks of the evening, though, was the emerald green Michael Faircloth stunner worn by Carrie Levering.
For the men, Armani (Steven Hodge, John Corder) and Zegna (Alex Roberto, Jeff Francis) were favorites. Kevin Conlon sported Tom Ford and Thomas Ricks wore Hugo Boss.
