Mommies In Need is a 501(c)(3) that provides childcare, community, and compassion to parents going through a health crisis. We believe that no parent should have to choose between taking care of their own health and having safe and loving care for their children. Services are currently provided through an in-home program in which MIN sends specially trained, background-checked, and CPR-certified nannies into families' homes to care for the children.

In its first five years, MIN has provided Dallas families with over 20,000 hours of free childcare. In the spring/summer of 2020, MIN will open an additional program in collaboration with Parkland Hospital. Mommies In Need plans to open a free drop-in center for children of patients receiving necessary medical treatment at the hospital.

Annie's Place, named after the first MIN mom, will provide care for approximately 50-60 children a day. Annie's Place at Parkland is the first of its kind, and there is hope to expand the programs in other hospital locations throughout the DFW area and beyond.
