The Crohn's & Colitis Foundation is a nonprofit, volunteer-fueled organization dedicated to finding the cures for Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, and to improving the quality of life of children and adults affected by these diseases. It was founded in 1967 by Irwin M. and Suzanne Rosenthal, William D. and Shelby Modell, and Henry D. Janowitz, M.D.

There are events year-round: Take Steps Community Connection in March, Take Steps National Virtual Walk in June, the annual Golf Fore Guts TopGolf Challenge, Camp Oasis in August, the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation Women of Distinction Announcement Party in September, the Patient and Professional Education Symposium in November, and the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation Winter Ball in January.
