MCCR works to expand treatment options for all cancer patients through investigational vaccine, gene, and cellular therapies.
Mary Crowley is always looking for compassionate volunteers to help provide holistic support to patients and their loved ones, plan activities for patients during their treatment visits, assist with transports within the hospital, help maintain the research center with current decorations and information, and assist staff members with administrative tasks.
This year, Mary Crowley is the beneficiary of Runway for Hope, a luncheon and fashion show hosted by the Be The Difference Foundation. The event will take place September 26, 2019, from 11:30 am-1:30 pm at Arlington Hall. Head here for tickets and information.
Along with honorary chairperson Elizabeth Gambrell, guests will enjoy a luncheon and fashion show spotlighting 12 models who are currently battling or in remission from ovarian cancer. The models will be dressed to the nines in the latest fashions from Nordstrom, decked in accessories by Kendra Scott, and glammed by Johnny Rodriguez the Salon. Former Channel 5 sports anchor Scott Murray and Nicole Aarons from Nordstrom will emcee, keeping the crowd entertained with model and fashion details. Before and after the show, guests will be able to shop Kendra Scott and Your Queen Bead pop-ups, as well as bid on several luxury raffle items, and each attendee will walk away with a thank-you bag featuring skincare products from Drunk Elephant.
