The Cooper Institute is dedicated to promoting life-long health and wellness through research and education. It is dedicated to scientific research in the field of preventive medicine and public health and communicating the results of research to the scientific and medical communities as well as to the general public. Its vision is to rebuild a health world and workforce through prevention, physical activity, and healthy living.
You can join the Meyer Society Lecture Series and or participate in planned giving, or contact the development team to find out how you can get involved and help The Cooper Institute spread the word about exercise as preventive medicine.
The signature event is the Annual Legacy Award Dinner, usually held in November and honoring a volunteer who has made an impact in the area of health and wellness.
It also hosts the Meyer Society Lecture Series twice a year, a special evening with various leaders who support our mission of prevention, research, and education.
