The Lone Star Film Festival will present a retrospective screening of The Apostle to honor 2012 Stephen Bruton Awardee Billy Joe Shaver, who had a rare acting role in the film. Fellow LSFF honoree Billy Bob Thornton has a supporting role in Robert Duvall’s underrated film, which Duvall wrote, directed and starred in. Billy Joe Shaver will be in attendance.
