Tarzan: Lord of the Louisiana Jungle is a documentary that pulls back the curtain on the facts and fiction behind the making of the 1918 silent classic film Tarzan of the Apes. The blockbuster film left questions regarding the treatment of the animals it used, including whether monkeys and apes were left behind in the swamps of Louisiana and if the actor who played Tarzan actually killed a lion in the film.
