The annual Castle Hills July 4th Freedom Festival is all about fireworks, food trucks and family fun. It features live music from Cover Down and free activities such as face painting, interactive games, a giant water slide, photo booth and Euro bungee. Village Shops tenant I Like Big Bundts will offer a sweet cake-decorating activity.  Several of DFW’s most popular food trucks, including Easy Slider, Kona Ice, Mr. Softee, Nammi truck, Ruthie’s Rolling Café and The Butcher’s Son, will set up along Lake Avalon selling tasty treats. Also at Lake Avalon are Castle Hills HOA-sponsored activities including a DJ, giant obstacle course and slide, a bounce house, water station (while supplies last), a wax hand station and glow-in-the-dark necklaces (while supplies last).

A spectacular fireworks show, sponsored by Bright Realty, will light up the sky at approximately 9:30 p.m. Get there early to get the best seats. Feel free to bring chairs, blankets and coolers.
