In a rematch of the 2012 game, defending champions North Dakota State will face off against Sam Houston State in the 2013 Division I Football Championship game at FC Dallas Stadium in Frisco. North Dakota State won last year's game 17-6 and comes into this year's game as the #1 seed. Sam Houston State defied the odds in getting back to the championship game, defeating both the #2 and #3 seeds along the way.
