The 2013 Jewish Film Festival of Dallas will present Suskind, which takes place in Nazi-occupied Amsterdam in 1942. To obtain protection for himself and his family, Walter Suskind pursues a post with the Jewish Council. But it involves the unimaginable task of having to decide which Jews are to be sent to the labor camps in Germany. When he discovers what really awaits his fellow Jews, he is horrified to be part of this heinous plan.  Courageously, he attempts to double-cross the Germans.

A Q & A will follow the screening with Dr. David Patterson, Hillel Feinberg Chair in Holocaust Studies, UTD.
