The first ever Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure was held in Dallas in 1983 with 800 runners, and has now grown to more than 20,000. The area’s largest breast cancer fundraiser at NorthPark Center welcomes people of all ages and fitness levels, from walkers to elite runners. The Race includes a 1K and 5K, followed by a celebratory march for thousands of breast cancer survivors, plus a concert by Emerald City Band.
