2013 Lamar Street Festival

The Lamar Street Festival celebrates the 100-year anniversary of the historic South Side on Lamar building with live music, food and drinks and art.

An eclectic array of local bands will provide live music from noon to 10 pm, including Erykah Badu, Carolyn Wonderland, The Relatives, Soul Track Mind, The Greencards and Home by Hovercraft.

Local food trucks and South Side restaurants like Full Circle Tavern, Opening Bell Coffee, The Cedars Social, Off the Bone, Spiral Diner and the NYLO Dallas South Side Hotel will provide food and beverages for the event.

Juried artists will line South Lamar during the festival showcasing multimedia art for sale, and The 11th Annual Cedars Open Studios, featuring a tour of local South Side artists’ studios and lofts, will be held during the festival.
