In The Hot Flashes​, an unlikely basketball team of middle-aged women in Texas goes to comic extremes on and off the court and become a national media sensation when they take on the current high school girls state championship team in a charity match to raise money for a mobile breast cancer screening unit. The film stars Brooke Shields, Daryl Hannah, Wanda Sykes, Camryn Mannheim and Virginia Madsen.
