David Gordon Green's latest is a comedy starring Paul Rudd and Emile Hirsch about two men painting traffic lines on a desolate country highway that’s been ravaged by wildfire. Prince Avalanche was filmed outside of Austin, Texas at Bastrop State Park, which suffered a devastating wildfire in September 2011.
The festival will also salute Green's career with a film compilation prior to the film. Green and film composer David Wingo will be in attendance.
