Dallas Can Academies will honor State Representative Cindy Burkett at their 21st annual Dallas Motherhood Luncheon. The annual event benefits the students of the four Dallas Can Academy campuses and recognizes women who are volunteers and champions of children in the Dallas area.

Cindy Burkett will be honored for her commitment to education, family and community. She is a graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington and has served in the Texas State House of Representatives since 2010.
