The 3rd Annual IIDA “Lavish” Auction, benefiting Dwell with Dignity, gives design teams a short period of time to create an unforgettable Design Vignette using donated and re-purposed items. All items in the vignettes will be available for purchase through a silent auction. These vignettes will be designed with precious gemstones as the inspiration using colors and meanings for each stone.

Each Design Team will be paired with a Furniture Underwriter, Material Underwriter (flooring, wall-covering, or fabric) and Accessory Underwriter. Underwriters will donate items and materials for the Design teams to use in their vignette. Design Teams may also source other donations for their vignettes from local non-competing companies.

A portion of the silent auction proceeds will go to the event beneficiary, Dwell with Dignity, a non-profit that helps families escape poverty and homelessness through design. A panel of celebrity judges will attend the event and score each vignette for the awards ceremony at the end of the evening.
