Komen Dallas Race for the Cure’s annual 5K fundraising walk/run event is one of the most highly anticipated races of the year. The 2014 Race, the 32nd annual edition, continues to raise funds, heighten awareness and educate Dallas County residents about breast health as well as to celebrate breast cancer survivorship. The Race welcomes people of all ages and fitness levels for its 5K, from walkers to elite runners, and includes a celebratory march for thousands of breast cancer survivors and a concert by Emerald City Band.
