In celebration of September being National Preparedness Month, the City of Dallas Office of Emergency Management is hosting their annual Emergency Preparedness Extravaganza.

The event will be open to the public and feature food, fun and demonstrations designed to build awareness so local citizens KnoWhat2Do in an emergency situation. Attendees will have the opportunity to see Dallas Police and Fire response vehicles, learn more about the local and state agencies that provide disaster relief in the community, build their own preparedness kit and participate in activities for the chance to win prizes.
