The annual Deep Ellum Arts Festival is a yearly celebration held on Main Street showcasing hundreds of musical performances, works of art and delicious food and drink from Dallas' most popular restaurants.
Traditionally a playground for grown-ups, attendees can stroll through displays of cutting-edge decorative arts and admire, commission, and purchase the art of sculptors, muralists, jewelers, painters and fine artists, some of whom will be creating pieces on the spot. Restaurants, galleries, and breweries alike will come together to offer their favorite items to festival attendees.
The 2015 event will feature performances from Parallel Play, The Effinays, Dynamite, Phoenix Hart, Grades of Absolute Truth (G.O.A.T.), Dezi 5 and The Boombachs, among others.
There will also be a fashion installation presented by The Pin Show, a daily poetry slam and open mic, a Deep Ellum speakers corner and a Friday night salute to Texas Roadhouse Blues.
