Love, death and architecture could easily be the mantra of the Böhm family.

Highly regarded as Germany’s preeminent architect, Gottfried Böhm is the patriarch of a modern architecture dynasty that also includes his three sons: Stephan, Peter and Paul. After the death of Elisabeth Böhm, a loyal wife, mother and architect who was a source of inspiration to her family in more ways than one, the Böhm family men struggle with the changing landscape in both their private and public lives as crises in the German construction industry simultaneously threaten the family business.

Director Maurizius Staerkle Drux’s feature length debut paints an intimate and pointed portrait of the complexity and inseparability of life, love, faith, art and architecture.
