In Texas, football is king. Millions of people grow up knowing the last 20 state high school champions before they know most of their own cousins’ names. The greatest college football rivalry in the world exists between two schools that are separated by about a hundred miles of highway and a million miles hate. Lone Star Holy War is a sports documentary highlighting pivotal moments of the century old rivalry between Texas and Texas A&M.

The last time both teams met was on November 24, 2011. Ending the 118-year-old rivalry and Thanksgiving tradition for generations of Texans across the state. You can ask a fan of either team where they were or what they were doing when that kick…well you know what happened.

With expert commentary from past coaches, players, sports analysts and fans, plus gripping game footage, Lone Star Holy War is an enlightening expose’ on what was one of Texas’ greatest traditions.
