The Big Texas Beer Fest is Dallas’ original beer festival. The sixth annual will take place over two days at the Automobile Building in Fair Park. The 2016 festival featured 120 breweries and over 500 beers, and there will be similar numbers for this year’s event.
The festival is well-known as the go-to for exclusive and rare beers, one-offs, and special firkins. Since brewers never know when beers will be ready, the beer list will be released about one week before the event.
Much of the festival focuses on the emerging North Texas craft beer scene, and Texas craft beer as a whole. Plenty of food will be available from one of many food trucks or local artisanal food vendors. There will also be local and national music acts performing on an outdoor stage.
