The Greyhound Adoption League of Texas (GALT) continues its mission of “No Grey Turned Away” with its largest charity fundraiser of the year. Retired athletes and sports personalities convene for the annual Greyt Retired Athletes Dinner and Auction.
Sports anchor Brady Tinker will emcee the event which features interviews with sports celebrities, dinner, live and silent auctions. The special guest will be professional basketball player, Nancy Lieberman, aka "Lady Magic.” Ms. Lieberman is currently and assistant coach for the Sacramento Kings and has extensive accomplishments to her credit including Basketball Hall of Fame and two-time Olympian. Longtime friend of GALT, Burton Gilliam of Blazing Saddles fame, will also attend.
Tickets include a seated three-course dinner with choice of III Fork’s famous chateaubriand, salmon, or vegetarian offerings. Two beer/cocktail tickets are included with a cash bar available and complimentary wine service throughout the evening. Seating is limited.
