The Immigrant Journey Awards is held in June in celebration of Immigrant Heritage Month, a nationwide effort to gather and share inspirational stories of immigration in America. The event celebrates the diversity of North Texas and our nation by honoring exceptional immigrants and their advocates, and awarding scholarships to outstanding immigrant or first generation American high school seniors.

This year's keynote speaker is Gauthami Vemula, Founder and President of Color Me Safe. The Masters of Ceremony will be Emmy award-winning journalist Rebecca Aguilar.
