2022 Mayborn Nonfiction Literary Conference and Writer's Awards

The Dallas Morning News will present the 18th annual Mayborn Literary Nonfiction Conference. Visitors can learn from some of the nation’s top journalists and authors.

This year’s event, Diary of a Storyteller: Crafting Words That Matter, will feature authors Jane Wolfe, Anna Badkhen and Elizabeth Williamson, who will discuss their latest novels and sign books.

There will also be an awarding of the nation’s best authors and writers – and announcing a major new manuscript writing award. The special guest for the evening is Ambassador Andrew Young, the iconic civil rights leader who worked side-by-side the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. He will participate in a "Fireside Chat" with biographer and journalist, Ernie Suggs.
