The 2nd Annual Brew HaHa, benefiting Genesis Women’s Shelter, will feature a fitness workout incorporating martial arts moves and the daily physical challenges of a brew master. The group workout of interval circuit training involves kicking and punching bag drills, lifting heavy bags of grain, a ceiling keg pull, pushups, kettle bells, medicine balls, squats, heavy ropes, loading bags of barley, a freezer room challenge and a consumption station featuring an OHB Allgood Kolsch brew.
The hour workout conducted by Professor Chamberlain, a 9th degree black belt, is open to the public. The entry fee will cover a Brew HaHa t-shirt and entry into the OHB Saturday Tap Room experience including a free pint glass, three beers, live bands, food trucks and bar games.
Ages eight and up can participate in the fitness workout (parental supervision required). Each participant will be entered into a drawing which will award someone with a complimentary month of karate at Chamberlain Studios of Self Defense. Fitness attire recommended.
Attendees are encouraged to bring a donation of cash or gift cards for groceries, fast food or everyday items. These donations will be delivered with a portion of the event proceeds to the event benefactor— Genesis Women’s Shelter.
