CARE (Chemical Awareness, Resources & Education), a non-profit, community-based organization, will present the 30th Annual Care Breakfast, presented by Bank of Texas, with former Boston Celtics basketball player, Chris Herren, as the featured speaker. Herren, who struggled with substance abuse for much of his basketball career, will share his harrowing story of
abuse and recovery.
Shirley Cohn will serve as the 30th Annual Breakfast Chair, and this year’s honorary co-chairs are Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw and his wife, Ellen. Guests are invited to enjoy breakfast while supporting CARE and the crucial assistance they provide for individuals and their families who struggle with the challenging repercussions of substance abuse.
For tickets or sponsor information, please contact the CARE office at 214-526-8986 or email info@care-dallas.org. Space is limited and reservations are required.
