Open Classical's costumed Halloween classical variety show is in its third year in Dallas and first in Fort Worth. Decomposing Beethoven, Mozart and Brahms among many others will be back again with their own freakishly fun twist.
As always, the event will feature quirky costumes, chamber music, and opera tunes with an eerie vibe. And this year marks the debut of the All Hot Ghoul Orchestra. Ghouls are plucked from the depths of Hades, so hot they are still singed from the fire. Audiences are encouraged to bring blankets and picnic baskets or enjoy the many restaurants and food trucks and the wonderful food and beverages. Hosted by Open Classical Director Mark Landson and pianist Thiago Nascimento.
The October 23 event will take place at Klyde Warren Park, the October 26 event will take place at Pocket Sandwich Theatre, and the October 30 event will take place at Live Oak Music Hall & Lounge in Fort Worth.
