The Adolphus will present the annual 86 Cancer event, a Chopped-style culinary competition where talented Dallas chefs compete alongside culinary students from El Centro College in creativity and technique while raising awareness and money for cancer research.

Guests can mix and mingle while enjoying culinary features prepared by all participating chefs as well as one-of-a-kind specialty appetizers by El Centro students. Additionally, tickets will include a full hosted bar with local cocktails. A silent auction complements the evening featuring items including luxury hotel stays, VIP sporting event suites, a wine pull and more.

Chefs will include Airric Heidelberg of Invasion; Jeramie Robinson of Thompson Dallas; Rami Rassas of Rami Raw; Joel Orsini of Profound Foods; Ben Smallman of Elm & Good; Rachel Cannon of Hardscrabble Country Club; Nick Walker of The Village Dallas; and Miguel Antonio of Fearings.

The panel of judges includes Steve DeShazo (Senior Director, Workforce, Career Connected Learning at Dallas College), Leslie Brenner (former Dallas Morning News food critic, Founder Leslie Brenner Concepts), Corey Mobley (Executive Director, Dallas/North Texas Region, Texas Restaurant Association), and Chef Sharon Van Meter (CEO, SVM Productions).
