The Arlington Foundation for Excellence in Education will present “Leaving a Legacy” Luncheon Fundraiser, in collaboration with the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Xi Theta Omega Chapter. The Keynote Speaker will be Rashan Ali, host of the show Sister Circle.
The fundraiser will be held to raise funds for our programs that targets households in the Arlington area and surrounding communities. These programs include the Family Expo that addresses the growing need for financial responsibility and health awareness; the YES! Summit is teen focused that provides educational workshops and resources to hundreds of youth and parents, the Dr. Barbara Odom-Wesley Spirit of Achievement Scholarship that is awarded to a female high school senior; and the Honorable Elzie Odom Leader of Tomorrow Scholarship that is awarded to a male high school senior.
