Dr. Hill, a member of Phi Beta Kappa, has a PhD in History from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and has a robust list of works published focusing on African American women in religion, including “Anti-Slavery Work by the African American Women of the Presbyterian Congo Mission.”
