The African American Museum will present the special exhibit "Texas Justice?," a compilation of newspaper articles about lynchings that occurred in the State of Texas from 1880 through 1961. The articles were originally compiled by former journalist, editor and publisher Ralph Ginzburg in a volume entitled 100 Years of Lynchings, which included incidences of lynchings throughout the United States. The exhibit resurrects a piece of Texas history stained by racism, hatred and suffering.
The exhibit will be on display October 21 through January 21, 2014.
